How Great Thou Art ~ imagination, creativity & spirituality
Are you someone who wants to explore your faith in imaginative and creative ways? Then you may be interested in the How Great Thou Art events taking place from the 3rd to the 6th of October. How Great Thou Artist is a Facebook group open to members of the public where people can express their faith creatively. The group is led by Kelly Woods the Uniting Church Australia Victoria/Tasmania Younger Generations Digital and New Communities leader.
"We are bringing together people who are passionate about imagination, creativity and spirituality.
Whether it through song, breath, liturgy, fine art, dance, poetry, fibre art... we hope to gather a wide range of people."
This year they are running the How Great Thou Art event, to allow others in our communities to explore our faith through different mediums. From playing games like Dungeons and Dragons or Minecraft to painting or even just storytelling and chatting as a group. There are also events that incorporate, candle making, bible journaling, resin work and so much more.
The events will be held across multiple locations around Heidelberg, Sandringham, Riddells Creek, the Geelong Region and online. A large variety of workshops will be available and can be found at https://linktr.ee/HowGreatThouArt
